Every patient has their own unique stories that make them who they are. I believe in building trustworthy, therapeutic relations with each of my patients. I would like to work together to develop a care plan for each individual. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked in the intensive care unit and the emergency department, dealing with chronic pain.
I always wonder how patients manage their pain after being discharged or how they get the appropriate care for them. That is why I am here, providing the best-individualized care I can for each patient. Not only is it essential to address the medical management in the plan of care, but it is also imperative to incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy into the regimen to help with the overall chronic pain.
